SATTF is delighted to inform you that we have reached our Big Arts Give target of £10,440 on Monday 6th December - the very first day of on-line donations week! - through the generosity of our supporters who donated on-line from 10.00am. The Big Arts Give team have informed us that we came within the first five Arts Charities to complete the challenge nationwide.
Thank you so much for your continued support of SATTF and to everyone who persevered and donated on-line on Monday 6th December, this is a brilliant achievement and we are extremely grateful to you all.

The £10,440 received in donations will be doubled through pledges amounting to £5,220, which were initially donated by our supporters and local businesses to allow us to take part in the challenge, plus £5,220 from The Reed Foundation and Arts and Business – an overall total of £20,880.

If you were wishing to donate this week and were unable to do so today, SATTF’s Big Give website is still receiving donations from supporters, which although un-matched, will still make a huge difference and will help to secure our future. Donate

Funds received through the Big Arts Give will be allocated to support our Education Workshops, Apprentice and Graduate Actor schemes and to ensure that our ticket prices remain low. For more detailed information about how our funds will be allocated please refer to our Big Arts Give Project page

Please do contact us if you would like any further information about The Big Arts Give and how you can support SATTF in the future.

With many thanks from all at Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory.

'I'm very happy to contribute to the educational work of Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory. Unsupported by the traditional 'Arts Industry', they excel in encouraging and producing the young players who will delight and entertain us both in the present and the future. (For proof...go to! go to! and experience the magic that is live theatre!)' Julian Thomas, Patron

Thank You !
