ALAN COVENEY
Over a thirteen year period Alan produced, directed and acted in many productions as a founder-member of Show of Strength Pub Theatre Company, producing new writing and rare classics including the premiere of Peter Nichols Blue Murder (National Tour) and the rediscovered eighteenth century comedy A Busy Day by Fanny Burney (Kings Head and Lyric, Shaftsbury Ave 2000). In 1999 he directed the first season of plays and readings which opened the Tobacco Factory as a theatre venue.
