JULIA HILLS
1970's graduated from Bristol University and began her career at Stratford East and the Bristol Old Vic.
1980's joined the RSC and appeared in many TV series including Ladies In Charge (ITV) and Who Dares Wins (Channel 4). Starred as Emily Tallentire in the original London production of the musical The Hired Man and as Drood in the musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood at the Savoy.
1990's had children and worked in two BBC sitcoms - Rona in 2 Point 4 Children and Beryl in Dad.
Since 2000 she has been working mostly in the theatre, recently playing Ruth in the original production of Calendar Girls (Chichester Festival Theatre, tour and West End) and returning to the tour last year to play Annie. She also appeared at The Royal Exchange in Pygmalion.
For SATTF: The Duchess of Gloucester and The Duchess of York in Richard II, Goneril in King Lear and Ranevskaya in The Cherry Orchard.
