Regional Director,
James was educated in Bath and began working life as a trainee accountant. He swiftly moved to front of house work and Marketing Assistant at Theatre Royal Bath then move to the Bristol Old Vic. At Bristol Old Vic he rose to become Assistant General Manager and Licensee, becoming responsible for the theatre’s links with the business community. He spent a short stint as General Manager for Winchester Theatre Royal before joining Arts & Business as a Business Manager in the South West, becoming Director in January 2007 of South West Region.
