Dominic Power
Dominic Power has worked as an editor on the performance texts for SATTF. He has written original plays, short stories and adaptations For Radio 4 and 3, including Russell Hoban’s Riddley Walker, Henry Fielding’s Joseph Andrews, Malcolm Bradbury’s The History Man, Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey and Sarah Hall’s prize-winning novel The Carhullan Army, co-written with the author, broadcast on Drama on 3 last year.
Dominic is Head of Screen Arts at the National Film and Television School and co-editor of the journal The New Soundtrack.
Dominic has written whole new scenes for SATTF – notably for Two Gentlemen of Verona in 2013, Measure for Measure in 2001, The Changeling in 2004, and for The Taming of the Shrew in 2008, when his new ending was greeted by one national critic as the ‘lost’ epilogue from an early Quarto!
